possible temp sensor failure ,or choke failure if carburated

since this type of engine have a safety low voltage sensor the battery have to have a minimum voltage power to start. if the battery doest not receive the adequate charge they will not start even with the jump cables connected to other car. looks like the battery have to be re-please, refer to a manual for the adequate battery for this windstar since the connections change in some years. also check the alternator and alternator belt for proper tension and charging capabilities.

at the base of the wiper arm theres a small cap to cover the point where the arm is mounted to the mechanism,remove the cap and tighten the nut ,you may have to loosen and tighten this nut a few times to adjust the arc of movement of the arm,ie,it may move too far across and foul the other wiper or too far down and foul the window lip,a bit of trial and error should see it working as good as new, its nothing to do with fuses or electrics of any sort its just a loose nut on the wiper arm mount is all

The speed sensor is located right behind the exhaust manifold next to the firewall! You may need to drop the exhaust to get to it!

I read the other posts. All the sensor are in the transmission. Having all these codes at one time would be a ground problem or a power problem. They don't all go out at the same time.

Hi,That relay probably controls the car's lighting. See if there's another one near it in the fuse panel - like for the AC or similar. Try it. Or go to a wrecking yard or parts store and buy one.And yes, you could have factory alarm system.....do some Google searches on Windstar alarm.GL,Td

First of all, I've owned a windstar for the past 13years and never came across (a cord windstar). can clarify this for me?. To your question, the best answer i can give you right now is to change the fluid, filter and see if this will help you. If it does not, I'll take to a dealer and ask tthem to diognose the issue. changing the fluid first has helpped other users in the past. Let me know what you found out-what the problem was..thnks and good luck.....

If the van has a CCRM the relays are inside that component. If not, the fan relays should be in the box with the fuses near the battery.

that is a wheel alignment and / or front suspension problem

If the underlying cause of the light is taken care of the OBD check engine light will go off after 6 warm up/driving cyclec or one within 50 miles of highway driving at a steady speed. If its still on you still have the problem/malfunction.

If your fuel pump is an in tank one then you have probably got the float stuck when you put it in the tank.

Hello, The P0136 code is set when the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects that the rear O2 sensor signal voltage is out of range for an extended period of time. bank 1 is the side of motor near the firewall that's where the #1 plug is.
