2005 Ford Freestyle Questions & Answers
Where is the left {driver's side} engine mount located?
On most front wheel Drive vehicles... there isn't a Left side engine mount. manufacturers utilize a three point Mounting system. Right side (Passenger), Front Center, (below radiator), and rear center, (firewall/Crossmember location). this is the best I can do with only knowing you have a 2005 Ford vehicle. More details would help to get you more information.

2005 ford freestyle wont rev up past 2500 rpms
If you hit the Rev Limiter on a Ford, it will simply bounce the rev back down, to protect the Engine. So, no high Revs. But, you should be able to bring it slowly to a High RPM. That is normal. If there are no Check Engine Light on. You are most likely hitting the rev Limit and need to stop.

2005 Ford Freestyle Awd replacing the flywheel & starter
You need a manual. I have pulled to many transmissions. Just know what to look for. The first thing you need to do is pull the starter and look at the flywheel. Takes a mirror to see the flywheel. If the teeth are eaten away, you need to pull the transmission to replace it.
