Heres a long shot, check out the EGR valve it may be plugged with carbon. But first check and or clean the Mass Air Flow sensor. You can go and get a can of MAF cleaner at any auto parts store. just follow the directions on can. The fine wires may be dirty or corroded on the MAF sensor. An engine with a bad MAF sensor may be hard to start or stall after starting. It may hesitate under load, surge, idle rough or run excessively rich or lean. The most basic test is to unplug the MAF while the engine is turned off, and then start it. Most of the time it will run better without it, if the sensor has failed. Good-Day!

Check the intermediate shaft .is located above brake pedal to the steering gear , if fixed and turn when you turn the steering remove front wheels and check the tie rod if it is connected with the wheel steering knuckle if it is good renew the steering gear assembly

Try going to a higher grade of fuel, and give it a good tune up (wires, plugs, oil change) if that dose not work, it is your catalytic converter. It needs to be replaced.

The torque specs are -for intake manifold-to-cylinder head bolts/nuts 1996 and later-----132 in-lbs -for intake manifold, upper to lower bolts 1995 and later-----89 in-lbs -for cylinder head bolts 2001 and later----step 1--37 step 2--Turn an additional 120 degrees I hope that this helps you out.
