You have an inline six engine and it is equipped with engine-mounted electronic Powertrain Control Module that records hundreds of measurements per second and makes immediate adjustments of air, fuel, spark control, and valve timing to provide optimal engine operation. Your Vortec 4200 uses an electronic throttle control (ETC). The ETC sends a series of signals from an accelerator-pedal module using a sensor that relays acceleration-intent data to the powertrain control module (PCM).
To increase idle you will have to reprogram the PCM using an OBD 2 software. Have it service at your dealer.

There are many codes that will not let the truck start. There are other problems that do the same and won't set a code. Have the codes read, post them, and a description of what it is doing or has done. Then we can try to help you with your problem.

They won't work when over charge. Over charging it will freeze up the lines. It will work at first until the lines freeze up. Most likely you have a clogged or malfunctioning expansion valve. On the passenger side, mounted to the fire wall. A rectangular block.

It's your rear stabilizer bar END LINKS. Very cheap and very easy to replace. Common problem for these. You can get cheap ones online for $10 and good greaseable ones for $20+.

Personally I'd just pull the engine. Easier. Try jacking it up see if there is enough room..

Usually means the engine bearings are worn out, or the oil pump is weak.
As the oil gets hot, it gets thinner, which reduces pressure. When the engine is at idle speed the pump is not pumping as fast as it is at highway speed.

This is not a reason for great concern as long as it rises again at revs. Make sure the level is correct, and you could try an oil of one grade viscosity, eg 20W-40 instead of 10W-30.

Could be crankshaft position sensor or mass air flow sensor or some other sensor ! The only way to tell is to have the vehicle hooked up to a professional grade scan tool that can view engine data parameters ! Your best bet is to take it to a ASE certified repair shop or the dealer !

Something to check because this has happened to me.....Make sure you have enough coolant in the radiator/overflow tank. IF the engine is running hot, the thermal switch on the AC compressor will turn it off to protect the compressor from overheating and damaging it. Don't go by the guage in the dash, it's usless. Hook up a scan tool and get the exact temp. Shouldn't be over 210 which is normal operating temp.

Most likely is the power motor in the door. If all the other windows work you will need to take the inner door panel off and test for power at the switch and to to motor. If you have power to the motor change the motor. Some time the wire at the front of the door between the door and the body will break (this is because this wire flexes every time you open and close the door). I hope this helps.
