The antifreeze puddle? the is no water coming out
Other possible sources for the anti-freeze are:
- leaking radiator hose - concentrate on the area where the clamps are, they commonly fray and leak.
- check radiator for leaks - common places on the radiator that leak are on the weld seams and the petcock
- area around the thermostat - if the thermostat is plugged, it could be forcing anti-freeze backward and compromise the seal you have around the thermostat
Every time it rains the car does not start, even
Check your coil pack,,if it is mounted on motor it could have a hairline crack and only acts up after dampness gets around it, or you have water seeping in on wires some where,,take a good look around.

Darlene Transmission jobs will cost around $1500.00 if you find an honest mechanic. Go back to the parts store and buy some Tranx. put this in your transmission. If it is a little over full it will be ok. your transmission sounds as if the orings are letting fluid bypass. This stuff will help. I used it in my truck 2 &1/2 years ago and haven't had a problem since. My transmission would drop out of gear completely. It took about three days for the problem to go away. $10.00 compared to a $300.00 solenoid package. Good luck

86 olds calais only starts if i pour fuel in
The fuel filter is under the car, in-line. If the pump runs, it wouldn't be the relay. When you try to start it, can you see any gas spray from the injector? You could have a bad injector. Check for power going to the injector.

Why did you change the coils?
NO--- Parts--- get replaced in a wish & hope strategy
First--- you obtain the info on the part of the system your
about to work on or have trouble with
You spend hours or days on the internet before going to
the car
Then your prepared to know how to TEST components &
systems---------- to find a problem----------
It is all about finding a problem, the fix is a given & usually
easy, if a part tests bad or a wiring issue brings things back to life.
On the internet there is all sorts of info, video & such about your car,
your motor, your motors parts & systems & how to test them & you
can print that info & take to the car to do the testing
If you have no understanding of the basic mechanical engine
or ability to use a volt meter, then your off the a repair shop & they
don't do well sometimes either
When you come to a site like this, you have to provide the motor
your working on & lots of test results-- eg: what problems are you
having, not some shop that failed to help you, your issues, what you
want to know, how to do
All we can do is guess or point you in some direction
Waterpump went out and now there's water in the oil - what's wrong?
Water pumps are notorious for sudden failure without any warning. Often the first sign of trouble is a light on the dash board telling you your engines in running very hot. If you have covered a considerable distance you might have done further damage to the engine. we had an old vehicle were this happened. The engine had a system where the oil and water ran either side of a thin metal membrane about the engine. I am no expert, but I fear you have cracked that division between the water and oil
