you dont say if its standard fitted model hifi unit, i take it you have pulled the din plug out of changer unit and checked all the pins are there? push plug fully in, check head unit end too, if thats done i had one that needed resetting on head unit, another the disc unit had dodgy earth lead, they dont norm give up. saying that my dads gave up when he hit a spped hump to fast. tricky...

Call a locksmith to open the trunk, or the dealership may be able to cut a new key from the vin number on the car.

i put a new stereo in was working fine ater about 20 min speakers stoped working but the sub-woofer is still working

Have a problem with my A/C. was leaking not holding proper charge. When that happens the Eoconomy light comes on and can't turn it off until system is prpoerly charged. Is their a reset on this system to turn that off once the proplem is corrected?

check connections under seat and check fuses, if not that check switch.

in the trunk on the right side, you need no special tools it can be done with an adjustable wrench, you may need a screwdriver to get the cover from the battery compartment, the repair manual does not tell what is holding the cover on but it should be obvious....good luck

It is for sure that this indicates that you have a serious issues within the gear box, A loss of oil reduces the lubrication on the gear box which might result in severe damage to all the moving parts in this complex gear box. Check if after topping and plugging the leak the gear box resets.
This needs immediate attention and remedy but only with a serious repair facility. So it is important that you will be equipped to remove and overhaul the unit then reassemble the gear box in order after a simulated check on the suspected parts.
Also the source of oil leak and the reason behind must be investigated.
So overall I think this work requires a bit of experience and equipment. Also temporarily plugging the leak will not do any good as the gears are now locked in only for safety of equipment.
I suggest you take these guidelines and approach the authorized service center to provide an estimate which might be a little on the higer side but it will be better that to have a half attempt to set up with a not sure position.

Try this push the lock button on the console towards the lock position and hold it for 8 seconds or so to turn the function back on.Then check,if still the auto lock is not working for the driver side door then its faulty actuator sensor or faulty auto lock assembly.------Sounds like the door actuator needs to be replaced.There is a sensor on the door lock actuator that is failing to sense whether the lock button is up or down so it goes up and down several times trying to find its location.You will need to remove inner door skin to see what is wrong inside and to replace actuator. In some cases the auto lock assembly it self gets faulty.So that has to be replaced.If door lock actuator looks fine and working. You need to have some mechanical knowledge and it will take somewhere between 2-3 hours . You also need to drill out some pop rivets to make the job a bit easier. The mechanism is fairly tight to remove and re-install. The pop rivets will have to be replaced when the door latch mechanism is in place. MB will also sell you the pop rivets.Also check the rubber boot on the door panel.If its got rough then try lubing the boot and rod. Pull up the rubber boot that slides over the door pull rod and to put some lube on the rod. Just remove the door panel and you will see the rubber boot. ------------ This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Is it just clicking and wont start? It may be the battery or a bad wire to the battery and starter.

There is no way to know what is the exact problem without diagnostic equipment, so you have to go to some auto service to check it.

When jump starting any vehicle always hook up the positive to the battery first and then hook the ground(black) lead to some metal surface on the engine. This way you do not throw sparks near the battery.

it's possibly faulty door lock, some time can be broken door handle first check door handle and if it's not broken faulty door lock, need to replace door lock, is this information helped you?
