Either the tach itself is bad or the engine speed sensor is bad

That code shows a problem with the Ignition Control Module. Specifically: ICM, 4X Reference Circuit Intermittent, No Pulses. Sounds like either a bad module, or the computer signal (reference signal or circuit?) may be a problem. If it's in the wiring, likely a shop will have to diagnose it.

Sounds a lot like the factory passive alarm system is seriously on the fritz, sometimes this can actually be resolved by resetting the passive system by locking and unlocking the car from the passenger side with the key. Although this could be a more serious issue with the system needing a more specialized look

Check for blown fuse.

Sounds like head gasket if your lucky,, Did you run it hot // At worst cracked head but hope not...

You may have a starter problem

remove transmission.

it could be a battary fuse or a igntion siloniod

bad news, possible leaking injector of pressure regulator. washed out piston rings. need replacement motor and fix injector issues.
