Dead Battery

not sure from your description what the actual problem is ?

I would have it towed to a dealer in this case or a private Jag mechanic.

it needs programming using suitable diagnostic equipment using jag software i.e. jaguar wds. or ids.i don't think there is another way to do it.

What? are you still stuck over there? The reason is because you don't insert your key properly, plus the steering unlocks and seats move because of accessories mode, if you want to move out of park, it must be ignition on.

it could be many things, usually the throttle body will cause most of the fault displays your talking about.You need to get the car scanned to pinpoint the issue.

I have no idea on that particular car. But most of the time you have to cut them off with a blade. They do not just unbolt (they are Welded in place). If you are unsure about this, then take it to a muffler shop.

The first thing to do is to have the fault codes read. If you comment with the codes found we may be able to point you in the right direction as to how to fix. Do this first before you spend heaps on all the wrong things.

The catalytic converter, looks and if fitted to the system like a silencer box, some people have a pipe made up to replace the converter, straight swop, however it is illegal to run the car without the converter, it will not meet pollution regulations. Also your management light will come on.

Start with a good battery and all electrical things working, open boot open all doors and with a screwdriver flick the locks shut but don't alarm the car connect + terminal and put a / no its getting to big you have to know how to use a multimeter can you do that ?

you got a battery drain its got to be sometimes it takes time in other words you got a short even the radio could cause it.

stop by closest auto parts store and have them check it.

ABS and traction control use the same sensors at the wheels so the problem may be a wire connection , loose wheel bearing varying the air gap to the sensor or a faulty sensor. Because the abs is involved I would have it checked out at the earliest for safety.

what year? the cyl config changed 2002/2003 depends on vin no. I think early engines rh bank 1a 2a 3a 4a lh bank 1b 2b 3b 4b later engines rh 1357 lh 2468

Remove battery cable for 5 minutes to reset.

check and adjust the switch on the hand brake lever.

the v6 s type is prone to the header tank splitting the v8 is prone to the hoses failing under the inlet manifold, pressure test the system to locate the leak if there is no sign of leak you may have cyl. head gasket problem unusual for v6 common for v8

if it turns over see if there is power to your fuel pump or tap the fuel tank while somebody tries to start it.
