Maybe it was damaged in transit - have it inspected by a body shop.The alignment issue is likely due to worn out parts - you need to go a mechanic that can determine if the ball joints/tie rods/control arms/bushings/etc are worn and what to replace.Replace the O2 sensor - not the catalytic converter. ...I don't know how many it has. The mechanic should 've been able to tell you how many??GL,TD

if its a 2012 see the dealer should be under warrantee

Hi Jerry, When the LED flashes there is a fault in the system recorded in the ECU. Take the vehicle for a diagnostic scan and find out what has been recorded and have the problem attended to. Regards John

GO TO YOUR BATTERY AND BEFORE YOU DO REMOVE THE TERMINALS,USE A MEMORY SAVER ON JUST TO PROTECT THE RADIO CODE,IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT NOT TO STAY WITHOUT RADIO BECAUSE LATER YOU NEED CODE TO PUT IT IN ORDER, THEN PROCEED ON REMOVING ONE BY ONE THE TERMINALS AND BY USING A BRASH OR SAND PAPER,CLEAN BOTH SURFACES ON NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE TERMINALS FOR GOOD CONTACT. USE ALSO A BATTERY TERMINALS GREASE FOR PROTECTION.

Hi Richard, I'm not an expert on Jags, just a little jealous I don't have one. Looks like a very nice vehicle. Have a close look, inspecting all hoses and vacuum pipes on the intake manifold side of the engine for any damage or loose fitting. The problem seems to be a leakage of air which is raising the idle speed. Regards John

Try disconnecting the car battery and joining the two leads together and leave for a hour then reconnect the battery ,it works for the immobilisor failing which it needs reprogramming ,Sorry but according to my alldata book they can only be re-programmed using dealer diagnostic software ? but the battery disconnection may work as it has in the past for me but not always or i was just lucky

if there is a distributor try to clean may be the corrosion of the distributor, or try to replace new high tension wire.

Steering and seat does not move when ignition is turned off

Usually a sign of a faulty relay.

I think this may be due to a defective fog light relay, it is sticking. Check the onwers manual for location, it should be under the hood.

2453 is theor paticulate soot filter and 244 is just the restricted performace differential pressure sensor, needs to b e serviced for sure...

DSC means "Dynamic stability control" it is caused by some kind of failure in the ABS/Stability control system, it all one system. You will need to seek a dealer or well equipped outside repair shop with proper tools and training to find out the exact cause of the warning light being on, they will use a special tool to scan the system for the fault code that is stored in the computer control module whenever this warning light is turned on.

Disconnect alarm see if it starts after full charge if still have same problem it would be a bad battery good luck

you have fault in the ecm network malfunction.

Low mileage on the Jag to be having this problem. Usually the misfire on these engines is a weak coil, and they won't set a code. The 3.0 is derived from a Ford design and it uses direct-acting mechanical bucket tappets (DAMB) for the engine they put in the S type from 2000-05.
The adjustments are done with shims. I don't have access to the mfrs. specs on this computer..It is at my shop... If the tappets are not overly noisy you should not need an adjustment, or an adjustment that would keep the valves from sealing and opening.
I suggest running a compression test and a cylinder bleed down test on the wet cylinder. This information will be helpful in further troubleshooting and would eliminate a couple of possibilites.

it will depend on the key that you have ...your car will memorize up to three keys...and in sequence to the memory usage...may I ask what year and model?
