2008 chevy cobalt engine light on

Your Po449 code means: Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Vent Solenoid Control Circuit. Check to see if anything on you EVAP system has gotten disconnected and make sure that none of your hoses have gotten old and bridle or have holes. If everything looks ok, you probably have to replaced the Vent Solenoid Valve, which is located on the EVAP canister.

Ignition is stuck in run position

does your key stays in the ignition position? or can you turn it back to acc or lock? it might be a stuck ignition switch mechanism inside or a shorted circuit that latches the ignition...have it checked or you can try to open it the switch yourself..but with caution if this is your first time. Pls give me a feedback. thanks!

Changed battery, and the car started but it won't start now

Put the key in the ignition and turn to run position (do not crank over engine) and let it set for about 10 minutes, repeat up to 3 times, if this still doesn't let you start you will need the dealer to reprogram the systems control module.

The ignition switch will not energize the starter is the problem with the switch or is it in a lockout mode

When this happens, look around the dash or information window for an icon that says SECURITY or ANTITHEFT. It may even be a picture of a car with a lock through it. If you see that light, the failure is the antitheft system locking out the starter. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

How do I troubleshoot the radiator fan on my 2008

firstly disconnect the fan connection and try a hot wire and earth to connection to see if the motor works as they dont make them like they used too and premature failure of the cooling fan is a prevelant problem nowdays ,if fan works then check the sensor on the cylinder head with a automotive meter and if working then check for power to the relay as their are 4 connections on a relay and you should have a permanant 12v supply to one of the connectiuons and the other side goes to the fan motor ,unless its all done on the earth return and i am afraid i do not have any product knowledge of this vehicle to know this ,not sold in spain as far as i know
