Heater/ac power want come on
Try writing in english sentences please. If the a/c and heat don't Want to come on then they must not be inate objects. and therefore must have feelings and emotions. So try talking to the heating and air conditioning units in a soothing tone of voice. try coaxing them to come on with penut butter and jelly sanwiches or some other treat.
09 Camry Passenger Seat Belt Light always on, with or without a passenger?
Hi Chickgamerr, There is a micro switch fitted under the cushion of the seat and another in the buckle part of the seat belt. To get to the switch under the seat will mean removing the seat, which requires the two bolts at the front of the rail and the two at the rear being removed together with the electrical connector being disconnected. Lift the seat out and turn it upside down. The problem may be there or with the buckle switch, which may be frozen. Spray a little WD 40 into it and plug in and release the buckle a number of times to free it up. Refit everything and safe motoring. Regards John
Abs light on after after rear struts replace
The ABS light being on is most likely the wheel speed sensor, the wheel speed sensor is still 100% good, it's just that someone didn't remove the sensor before working on the strut, so when they pushed down on the lower control arm or knuckle they ripped the 20-24 Gauge wire apart, you can buy a new harness or splice it back together and use heat shrink to hold it.
I have a 3s 2000cc
Hi there,
As you have not stated the vehicle MODEL or Year of Manufacture, I will provide a 'general' solution:
There could be numerous causes for high fuel consumption, but if you have used this amount of fuel in such a short journey, there would have to be leaking fuel somewhere.
However, the only true method to measure "ACTUAL" fuel consumption (disregard trip computer) is:
- Completely fill tank to a pre-determined point inside the fuel tank filler tube.
- Set your cluster Trip Meter to: 0000
- Drive vehicle for 6 - 15km and return back to the same gas station pump used previously.
- Completely fill tank to the same point inside the fuel tank filler tube, where filled previously.
- Note the quantity of litres required to fill to that same point in the filler tube.
- Divide the litres used, by the total Km travelled on your Trip Meter.
- If the value calculates less than 20 (carburettor engine); less than 15 (EFI engine), then consumption is acceptable.
Note: if value is above these numbers, then you have a fuel leak, or a problem with your vehicle's carburettor adjustment. EFI engines can have numerous causes, including electronic sensor faults etc.
Cheers,
