Do you mean cold weather? When was the engine last serviced? Old, dirty spark plugs and old, dirty filters can cause bigger problems than you would expect. On really cold days try to 'Prime' the engine. My method is to use the kick start to spin the engine over 3 or 4 times before using the electric button start. If yours has a manual choke try gradually sliding it down to a lower setting once it is idling and all the way off once you are riding.

SPECULATION only... because Peugeots were not commercially imported to the USA in 2008... BUT TYPICALLY you must empty & drop the "GAS TANK" to access the sender unit (fuel - pump)...
