Hi,

My driver's side visor inexplicably fell out the other day and I had to re-install it.

The metal frame has two openings in close proximity for the visor mounting. One is triangular and the other is a hole.

The teardrop portion of the visor has a post which fits into the above mentioned hole. The visor arm is attached to a piece which has three plastic lugs.

There is an opening visible in the last photo from the OP. I used a flat tip screwdriver and pressed IN on the tab inside the opening. This "dis-connects" the two pieces and allows the teardrop portion and the triangular lugs to move separately.

So, to install visor, press the tab, release the two portions, align the post with the hole and turn visor until three lugs line up with the points of the triangle. Push assembly flush with headliner and move visor back and forth until you hear a "click" and the two pieces are connected again. When I did it the click came when I moved the visor far forward (towards windshield). This position was approximately 45 degrees with respect to the line of the top of the windshield. I would imagine the dis-assembly is the opposite procedure.

If you have 2 pistons, one on either side, they have "worn out" and need to be replaced. These pistons usually last only about 8-10 years.If you choose to replace them yourself, you can buy them at a car parts store. You can also buy them off of "e-bay", however, the last dozen I replaced were the same price either place.If you have 2 torsion bars, which fasten to the hinges and are mounted up on the bottom of the rear seat shelf behind the back seat, you may need to replace these.These do not normally need replacement.Be blessed.

Since you don't say if you have 4 or a 6 cyl, I will give you both.On a 4 cyl count from the front of the engine. The belt pulley is the front.On a 6 cylinder, one bank of cylinders is more forward that the other. On the forward bank the the front cylinder is number 1, so the front cylinder on the other bank is number 2. So number 3 is next to number 1. The second cylinder on the forward bank.

There are little plastic caps that cover the mounting flanges. Use a small flat blade screw driver to release the cover and that will expose your mounting flange.

It can be issue with gears or problem with transmission and needs to be rebuilt. Also get the ****** fluid checked. If it's low, then such problems occurs.

The shifter needs to be inspected. If The shifter assembly is got misaligned, it has to be open and realign.

There are many other possibilities.

If it is a built in system, which is sounds like it is. Your XM receiver is not functioning correctly. I believe a replacement XM receiver is covered under your warranty if you have one with your Honda dealership.

No the hub will have to be pulled off and the stud pressed out.

The power door lock electric actuator motor is defective most likely. You will need to pull the door panel off and test it with a volt meter for power and ground when the power locks are actuated, if the system is powering up the lock motor but it doesn't move the rod then replace it,.
