Pls assist me to retrieve the radio code for Honda accord 2008, VIN - 1HGCP36888A008183, Serial no - 3000 1479 B0 10700.

posted over 25 times now here it is again., ill just past it 1 more time. quoted 25 times now: De'ja' vu , all over again. (LOL) RTM RTM read the operators manual, its all there, here is a direct quote. true for all cars, really all modern cars, 2001 to now. about. read your operator guide) 2008 opr.guide.(lost it, huh?) Accord. non satellite Radio. NAV system has own code. , all cars.... 2008 direct quote. Quotes: Your vehicle's audio system may disable itself if it is disconnected from electrical power for any reason. To make it work again, you must enter a specific five-digit code with the preset buttons. Because there are hundreds of number combinations possible from the five digits, making the system work without knowing the exact code is nearly impossible. You should have received a radio code card that lists your audio system's code and serial numbers. {glove box find} It is best to store this card in a safe place at home. In addition, you should write the audio system's serial number in this owner's manual. If you lose the card, you must obtain the code number from your dealer. To do this, you will need the audio system's serial number. If your vehicle's battery is disconnected or goes dead, or the radio fuse is removed, the audio system will disable itself. If this happens, you will see ''ENTER CODE'' in the frequency display (on the screen on models with navigation system) the next time you turn on the system. Use the preset buttons to enter the five-digit code. The code is on the radio code card included in your owner's manual kit. When it is entered correctly, the radio will start playing. If you make a mistake entering the code, do not start over; complete the five-digit sequence, then enter the correct code. You have 10 tries to enter the correct code. If you are unsuccessful in 10 attempts, you must then leave the system on for 1 hour before trying again. The system will retain your AM and FM presets even if power is disconnected. {only on newer cars' General information on Honda and DIY: {the code can be obtained from any Honda dealership (you must give him/her your radio serial number (sticker off radio)"} or any locksmith with a license from..NASTIF Honda1 ServiceExpress (Same info as ISIS) Acura ISIS (Dealer version w/ advanced search) http://nastf.org/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageid=3462

Service light reset

i guess you lost your operators guide already? ????? maintenance minder, or CEL/SES/MIL? all are service but all are different. the wrench light is probably oil change reminder, (?????) the oil change reset is in the linked oper guide below on page.307 the icon of an engine is the CHECK engine light , or CEL. CEL all USA cars? and most 2006 plus cars world wide (not china) reset with a generic scan tool , press button. there are 3 ways on all cars. 1: scan tool reset. (best of best) $9 tool 2: pull ECU memory fuse, (RTM read the FSM) 3: pull battery neg lug , step on brake pedal , and wait 5min and put back. this kills all power to car. the operators manual warns you, pulling battery and not reading the radio and NAV sections of same , you will lose the RAD CODE and NAV code, bricking both. so read the manual in the glove box and back up your 1 or 2 codes if you have NAV. there may be a 4 th way some cars have driver reset, silly way. fidding knobs, and keys and odometer resets, this is car maker and year, specific , and i ignore it, as i have 8 scan tools. but read the operators guide on all 3 topics. ive post the free accord link 25 times. now. here it is 1 more time. RTM, read this first then ask questions. http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/Accord/ the oper guide shows no way to reset the MIL. (other than a real scantool) only the FSM covers the other ways.

Check engine Light (emission Control System)

wait about a day and let the car dry out some. Then reset the check engine light by unhooking the negative cable from the battery for 15 minutes or more. Hook it back up and see if the cel even comes back on. It probably wont but if it does, go to parts store and get the code and go from there. Shouldnt be a big deal, car is prob ok. Just get code if it does happen to come back on and reveal the year, make and model of the car and the code. But you need to reset the light 1st to see if it comes back on.

How do I replace a side view mirror for a honda accord '08

to replace JUST the mirror glass, goto www.burcoinc.com On the left click on 'redi cut'. Under "redi cut" click on 'Installation'. At the right, I believe you mirror type is 'Snap Fit/ Drop Fit'.
This shows HOW to replace the mirror, to GET the mirror you will have to check with your local glass shop or dealership. (I don't think Burco will sell to you directly) Just make sure it is AUTO mirror, See FMVSS-111 on Burco's web site.
If you need to replace the entire mirror head assembly...it is held on with 3 bolts located under the door panel. HTH
