the coils are marked. L1 L2 T1 T2 trailing are top leading are lower, #1 is front rotor.

there is no timing belt on rotary engine

Check TNS and relay and wiring in that circuit

Blocked exhaust, excessive overheat and probably warped rotor housings

under the dash driver side , can be seen in shop manual FSM electrical or Haynes.

Have to check for a draw on the system. if a test light will light when put between ground wire and battery terminal you have a draw, You then put each fuse to find out which circuit is the problem. the light will go out when you find the circuit that is the issue. Probably a bad switch.

With the FC3S platform you first need to make sure the battery and wiring are good. If the lights dim when using the starter there is an excessive draw which would indicate a bad starter. if there is clicking or no clicking at the starter voltage needs to be checked going to solenoid. If starter works by bypassing the solenoid, it is a bad solenoid.

Main fuse links, bad grounds, bad connections at battery.

spark plug gap is preset, if the correct plugs are used. NGK or NipponDenso only.

1st, need to get a compression test. No problem with taking it to redline. Low or short shifting actually do more harm to a rotary than letting it rev.
