call a wrecker car is probably toast

remove plug and check for oil or fouling. cable should resist1300 ohms. coil could be bad

pickup coil or igniter bad

most likely an electrical problem.

you have a faulty light switch

exit car lock with remote, open with remote and try again. check for trunk or hood or doors ajar

perhaps antitheft feature is engaged. check for flashing security lite. exit car lock with the remote then reenter car with the remote and insert the key in the ignition turn key to crank position and observe the security light. it should not be flashing

neutral safety switch is out of adjustment

the passive antitheft feature is engaged. lock the car from outside with the remote open with the remote and insert key in ignition and turn to crank position and observe the security lite it should not be flashing

don't fret about the cost. it is minimal but only sold usually in sets

put a mechanical gauge on the engine and see if the pressure is 30-40lbs

you have one crank sensor and 2 cam position sensors

You need to have it checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible, I drive a 2000 cadillac catera and it began to have the same problems about 4 months ago but last month my sport mode button began to blink which means a transmission problem. So when i had it looked at they said my 3rd gear was almost completely burnt out and it cost $2,000 to fix. The cause was a broken piece of the transmission was failing and it had to be completely rebuilt. Good luck!!

There are two universal joints between the steering wheel and steering gear. Could be one or both.

Hi, it may be that the light on tail may be bad, but usually is the break sensor that goes mounted on the break pedal, it cost about 25 US in Autozone, its important to replace it , since this may affect the information that is being sent to computer about the car speed and how to make the shift (transmission) .. By replacing this you may see that the break lights will work again. Its something that may take about 20 min to a mechanic.

Is the alternator good? If so, you are draining from somewhere else. If the amp is TOTALLY disconnected, check your starter, because an closed circuit in the starter can drain the battery really fast, and if you have had problems starting lately, that's your problem, let me know how you make out....

you have to remove the dash panel to replace the bulb, if the bulb is good you could have a bad computer
