Try some WD -40 in the key hole. Spray a good bit in to remove any metal deposits.

With the location of the water leak and the cold air, it sounds as if the heater core is leaking or one of the heater hoses going to or from the core has a hole in it. The heater core is on the passenger side of the vehicle, inside, against the firewall. Is the carpet wet underneath on that side?

unhook it and hook the 2 lines together,why would you want to??it will get hot and blow the tranny?!

Could be as simple as a fuel filter...suggest perform reg maint. , service throttle body, etc..

have the codes checked at autozone for free. they will let you know what is wrong

Hello, from the description that you have given I think you may be right, I think that the switch has passed its use by date. However have it checked by an auto electrician to confirm this before spending to much money. Best of luck with it, hope this helps.

Your heater core is running off of the coolant for your engine. It i essentially a "mini radiator" inside the car. When the temperature drops that low, it takes longer for the coolant to get up to temperature. If it never actually gets hot, its time for a new thermostat. For most cars it is a fairly cheap repair, around 20$ for the thermostat, 10$ for coolant and labor, usuall usually 1/2 hour total job, so figure around 80-100$ total if done at a shop.

I know with ignition coils you remove one at a time while engine on and hear for difference

timing issue. a car backfires when fuel is not burnt in the combustion chamber, and end up in the exhaust system. your car could very well just need a tune up.

It's flashing to get your attention an tell you there is a problem with the leveling system an you need to take it to the Cadillac dealer an have it fixed !

Hi, I dont understand what you say shift right, you mean that is going to a side? that you want to continue straight while driving and car tends to go to the right? Please, explain and I can try to help, I have a Catera 99, I just rebuilt engine, and prior to that I changed Radiator too,, and re built suspension and changed front struts, .. Please tell me more of what car is doing, perhaps I can help.

Sounds like the head-gasket blew and allowed oil into the coolant and coolant into the oil. Unfortunately, it's time for a tear-down and rebuild of the engine.
