How about switch position.... did you check that?

What do you mean by fuel regulator ? the one that is on front on top of the engine? with two chambers and a flapper that is electronically controlled

the fluid has to go somewhere so check for a power steering leak and repair the leak.

O2 sensors are located in the exhaust pipe they have an electrical plug connected to them. on a v type motor there is one for each bank in the Y pipe and probably one before the catalytic converter depending on engine size and configuration when designed.

Either fill it with gas or check the wiring on your sending unit/pump. Big bummer if you need to drop the tank. If the gauge works it could be as easy as pulling the bulb if it is bothersome. I recommend fixing it correctly.

Hello: Turn off the twi-light sentinal, The switch is next to the headlight switch.

It's in two parts. You have to hold one while you separate the two sections exposing the cartridge filter. You have backed off the base and that's where the oil is probably coming from.

JUst go to fuse box see in side it there

Short in dash

Start with the ground see if that help than fuse

The electrical portion of the switch/tumbler portion of this system most likely has a short...

Hi, You mean the one bellow the wheel? there are two bolts , this bolts are like a dirll point, they just rotate little and fit. Then you move the bottom cover slightly up, since there are two fixed bolt type shaft that hold that cover. So just rotate two screws, hold the cover, and move slightly up, while holding it up, and you get to the fuse and relay area. The other side you have to remove the glove compartment and you ll reach the Transmission Control Unit . If you need I have some information from Haynes 3510 book, Vauxhall/Opel Omega that is smilar to Catera 1999, which I happen to own down here in Mexico.

You mean the cover under the wheel?, see that there are two bolts , that have a kind of drill point, they just rotate slightly to attach to the upper dash support. Then while you rotate both bolts, hold the cover slightly , and move it up and to the front since it will come curved ,, you will un attache it from two kind of bolt head pins that have insert on the cover, where it its supported from the inside. I can send you some pics, but have car on paint shop. Note , you may want to get the Vauxhall Opel Omega Haynes 3510 book, it has the basic information for service and maintenance. I have also the two books for Catera 99, its the one they had in factory service GM. I just finished engine rebuilt , and having small problems with tranny alarm that comes up once in a while.

have your alternator (charging system) checked it sounds like battery is not receiving a full charge either due to faulty alternator, or battery cable corrosion.hope this helps
