If you are talking F then that is too low at -10, F? is what is required.If C then the FF (whatever that means) at 40C is too hot and -20 is about right for a freezer.

HI. that glow will be the defrost element. If that element continues to glow for a long period of time, longer than an hour, this will indicate that there are issues that concern the integrity of the defrost timer, or adaptive defrost control board. I would advise to shut off the power to the unit for five minutes. this will rest all the control boards that exist in the units structure. re-introduce the power to the unit, after the five minutes are up. If the element continues to glow, continuously, this will confirm that the defrost module has failed.(stuck in the defrost position). replace the either the defrost timer, or adaptive defrost control board(depending on the model), if the reset did not correct the issue.

Hi, The unit has to cycle or it will freeze up, so to control the temperature this unit must cycle on and off. This is normal for all refrigeration units. The Climate Keeper in our 2006 GE Monogram refrigerator lifts up, pulls away a little after the screws are clear AND it has two pieces of plastic on the bottom sides that need to be pushed toward the center to get it out. Lift it up and clear the top screws, then put your hand behind the climate keeper at the bottom and find those, then push one in, then the other. Took us forever to figure this out. The freezer controls the fresh side temp by letting the cold air through the divider. Make sure that the passage is not blocked or iced over. Also check the cooling coils to make sure they are clean.

I don't know - I would describe the noise as being like the wind blowing across a chimney. I have never owned a fridge that didn't make such a noise as it grew older - while it was on a cooling cycle and afterwards it sounds like water trickling. It doesn't seem to affect the performance though and I manage to ignore it.

Try unpluging for a day if possible.Ice can build at drain on some models.

It goes through the defrost tube to underneath unit. Poor very hot water in that hole and watch underneath unit where it comes out. If nothing is coming out, then it is still blocked.
