There are no replacement parts for water timers.
Clock motors are small with plastic gears, and they wear down and get slow, and then overheat and quit. If timer is electronic, the circuit board and components have finite lifespan and don't last long exposed to elements and daily temperature fluctuation
Be sure to bring water timers inside each winter to avoid cracks caused by ice expansion.

I need a copy of Gilmour 9600 programming

Hello. Have found a link that may help, the category for electronic timers is listed as the 9400 series. I'm guessing Gilmour has generic instructions for all their timers. If this is not the case, the toll free number at the top of the page should yield some positive results - just use the "satisfaction for the life of the product..." line and I'm certain they will assist.

If this helps, please don't forget to rate this answer a four-thumbs up, Thank You.

After winter storage and frost

If you leave water inside plastic timer or plastic hose parts, and water freezes during winter, then the plastic will split as frozen water expands.
Buy new water control.

Open link below for some Gardena manuals including T1030
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-program-Gardena-C1060.html

By the way, if they made the same parts out of brass or copper, the brass and copper would expand instead of crack during a freeze, but the internal valves would be ruined anyway.
So plastic is a good material, just bring these things indoors or drain the water for winter storage.

Please tell me if i can use gardena equipments in

I would be careful about Gardena products.
I can't find the Gardena information you need, and I search for internet information for hours every day.
There are unanswered Fixya questions all day long about Gardena products.
However I never see questions about Melnor products, or other water products >> no unanswered questions on Fixya about other water products except Gardena.

If Gardina timer product matches lack of information on the Gardena webpage, then I wonder about product quality.
Gardena.com has no manuals, just brochures
Brochures are in German
There are technical drawings but no page that offers replacement parts
Gardena contact email does not work
Support information page requires you to fill out your name and address

Gardena Irrigation timer on this page shows no specs whatsoever

What do I set frequency?

That means how far apart the watering cycles are. For instance, you may choose to have it turn on water for 1 hour (or whatever you like) every 8, 12 , or 24 hours. Hope this helps:)

My gardena timer suddely has a restricted water

No joke, that is the longest I have ever heard of a Gardena timer working. I suspect you are correct about the diaphragm, but there is not much hope of finding new parts for that model. I suggest celebrating your amazing feat with a new (not as well made, sadly) Gardena timer and keep an eye out for a part at a garage sale to fix the old one when you can. I suspect you take very good care of your tools. So few people do anymore. Regards,

I HAVE JUST ACQUIRED AN UNUSED BUT UNBOXED GARDENA

When you open the flap you should see a set of instructions stuck to the inside of the flap..
If not press and hold simultaneously Time, prog, start time, and run time, buttons to reset the computer .

Then enter the current time and day of week.

You could call 612-933-2445 and ask for part 1162-20-940.01

I know this because I have a 2030 that has now stopped working and am looking to buy the computer part - interested?.

Gardena c 1060 water timer problem

Hi Cornwell,

I have timers similar to yours. Happens more often than I like to think about. Here's what I do:
  • Make sure there are new batteries, Check the contacts in the battery compartment for corrosion.
  • Check the manual on/off for unit functionality
  • If the device is new (warranty) and it still does not work, exchange it. It's not your problem.
  • If it's out of warranty and does not work, you have nothing to lose by opening it up. Some of mine just needed the gear box to be nudged.

Good luck and happy watering

How to set start time on timer raindrip r672c

The start time on these style of timers is whenever you set it. So if you want it to run at night it needs to be set at night, e.g. turn to off/reset, then at 10pm go set to the freq. and duration desired, then it will run at 10pm. Also note this timer waits a full cycle to run the first time after it is set, e.g. if today you set it to run weekly, the first time will be next week.

How do I replace the battery on Raindrip Model

  1. Unscrew the cover over the dials (if it's still there.)
  2. Under the dials you will see two little black plastic tabs poking up about 1/4"
  3. Squeeze the tabs together gently and pull up
  4. The battery compartment will pop out.
  5. My units takes two AAA batteries -- and yes --they did need replacing!
