Good Afternoon Friend, I understand that you are receiving a 56 56 code on the display of your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# GLHS269ZDB. I also see that it is not dispensing ice or water, even though you have reset it by unplugging it. The 56 56 is actually SB SB. This tells me that your refrigerator is in Sabbath mode. To exit the Sabbath mode, press and hold the down arrow and the plus sign, simultaneously for 5-10 seconds or until the display changes. The humidity sensor and temperature sensor are plugged in the wrong plugs on the main board. Swap them and your problem will go away.

Let's attempt resetting your dryer by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is good to wait approximately ten minutes and turn on your dryer. Select a normal cycle and verify if your dryer will start. If your dryer will not operate then it possibly have a faulty door lock assembly or a communication problem with the control board. At this point, it would be advisable to contact an experienced appliance repair tech to assist further.

If the terminal is 5/16 it needs to be 5/16. The reason is that it passes the correct resistance. The smaller the contact, the more resistance and heat. You may be okay with a 5/16 connector in 250'F and that is probably the best option. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn your range back on. Typically, this will clear most false error codes. If the error code continues to display, your range could possibly have a faulty door latch, light switch or EOC (electronic oven control). I am fairly confident that an authorized service agent will be able to restore your appliance to its normal operating condition. You can try reseating the controller. UNPLUG THE FREEZER FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET. Get a wide putty knife and insert it between the door and the controller bezel on the right side of the controller. Pry the controller out toward the top first (comes out easily) by twisting the putty knife handle so the top of the controller pops out and then grab the controller toward the bottom and pull it out as straight as you can. Get some dielectric grease and put it on the pins at the bottom on the back of the controller you removed from the door. Alternately, you could put wd40 on a cotton cloth and wipe the contacts. Make sure not the leave any debris on the pins other than a little bit of grease or wd40. Insert the controller back into the door and plug the freezer electrical cord back into the outlet. I had some problems with the line voltage coming in my house. For a while the lights would flicker. I believe that this was a contributor to the problems I had with my freezer, which have lasted about five months now. I would intermittently find that the display was all lit up or that the led number segments would be dark, but a little red led was lit. Simply unplugging and replugging at the electrical outlet seemed to do the trick. Finally it seemed like it completely malfunctioned, not restarting after unplugging and replugging. Just dead. I finally pulled off the controller and put the dielectric grease on the pins and then whalla, it came on again without issue...well for 15 minutes so far. I had a feeling that the issue was the controller all along because the freezer itself never seemed to have any problem getting cold or setting the temp, just this problem of shutting down every so often (2-5 times a week). I'll post back again with an update.

It is a gas appliance so has to be worked on by a gas certified technician. Call for service. That is the law. ..

if all you have is soap residue here are some things you need to do to correct this,,,have unit been cleaned out lately..no, 12 to 16 onces of bleach on regular cycle..may have to bleach unit twice,,,
the dishwashing detergent may be old [expired],check,,overloading to many dishes,,wash water is not hot enough,,one of these is your problem,,check each and you will be ok,,and use jet dry with every wash...

It depends on the kind of spots.
Hard water spots are just the result of minerals that were left behind when the water evaporated.
Food spots can be the result of food that was allowed to dry before putting the dishes in the dishwasher.
In general, a water softener can be quite helpful in reducing hard water spots, and can also help the dishwasher perform better.
Note too that recent changes in the formulation of dishwashing products has been a problem for people who do not have water softeners. Government mandates have recently restricted addition of phosphates in dishwashing products in many states. Phosphates were quite beneficial to the dishwashing process.
A water softener may be your best answer.
