I wouldn't drive it more. It could be your oil pump.I'm sure you have checked your oil?? My pump got clogged up and I ended up having to replace the entire engine and I'll tell you that is expensive, over 2,000!

This happens with a lot of ovens. It's because the mechanism that locks the door is stuck. When the door doesn't lock you can't do a self clean. They don't want you to be able to open the door while the oven is 800 degrees? or so. Look just below the little button that gets pushed in when the door is closed, upper left, and you should see a vertical slot. This is where a little lever comes out and grabs the slot on the door. There is a microswitch inside that tells the oven if the lever has come out or not. Your lever is stuck.
You can test this in a totally dangerous way by opening the door, holding in the button, and turning on the self cleaning. If everything is correct you will see the lever come out to grab and lock the door, but your's won't because it's stuck. Jiggle it or push on it or pull on it with needle nosed pliers. It frees up pretty easily. But when it does, the oven will go into self clean, which you don't want it to do with the door open, so turn it off, close the door and try again. It should work fine.

Google

make model manual

If your oven light doesn't work, it probably needs a new bulb.

Fisher Paykel have a manual finder on their website. The model number will be on a label at the rear.

Hello,

Before you decide to replace your oven door gasket, check first if it really needs replacement or if it's the correct oven component that's broken. Broken oven door gaskets unevenly heat the food being cooked or baked. Turn on the oven and navigate your hand around the door way of the oven without touching the walls of the oven. An inch distance from the walls of the oven to your fingertips is a good distance to check for any unexpected release of heat.
The gasket needs replacement if you perceive that the heat is escaping from inside. Be careful not to touch the oven door when you test your oven.
The gasket is where the door normally closes on to and is normally found at the frame of the oven. In this kind of oven,
where the gasket is mounted on the frame, the gasket is friction-fit and can easily be replaced. Some ovens have a door that is divided in to 2 sections and the gasket is not found on the door frame.
In this type of oven, the gasket is installed in between the back and front panels of the oven door. If the gasket is installed in between the front and back sections of the door, it is advisable to have a professional fix or replace it.
For frame-mounted gaskets, below is a step by step process on replacing the oven door
gasket:

Tools and Materials Needed:
  • Screwdriver,Cleaning cloth,Household detergent,Water,New gasket (same brand and range).
Step 1 - Get the Range and Brand Take note of the range and brand of oven that needs gasket replacement. Purchase the correct type of gasket.
Step 2 - Turn Off the Valve Turn off the valve of the gas source. Take the old gasket out of the channel by removing the screws that is holding it in place. Some gaskets are not attached to the oven via screws but are just friction-fitted in place.
Step 3 - Clean the Channel

Take a cleaning cloth moistened with household cleaning detergent and water solution and clean the channel and the oven door frame. Clean it well so you don't leave any cleaning detergent residue.
Step 4 - Install the New Gasket Start installing the new gasket starting from the top of the door frame going down unto the sides of the oven frame. Ease the new gasket around the corners. End the installation along the bottom by pushing the gasket ends together.
When replacing the gasket, be aware of the scents perceived in the vicinity of the oven. Leave the house when you smell gas and call the fire department. Don't turn on or off any lighting materials such as lamps, ceiling lights or flashlights. If it's found outside the house, turn off the valve of the gas master source. Do not, in any case, enter your home, until the firemen get to your house and confirm that it's safe to go in.

Please rate this if it help.

Good luck and thanks for using fixya.

I have the double wall ovens. The lower oven read door lock & flashed F7. Check to make sure the lock is not sticking out a bit, it is on the left side of the oven. I'm not sure if this is what the f7 fault code is, but it worked for me :)

ill assume your referring to the cooking fan you see inside the oven and not the outer cooling fan, you will need to turn the breaker off outside to cut power to the oven then you will have to take the oven out of the wall and remove the back cover then its normally just 3 screws and the nut on the inside of the oven that holds the fan blade on (which is reverse threaded by the way) and it should come out

normally there is a live wire for right and one for the left this maybe off, turn off at wall and remove the back to see any wires that maybe off

as it shouls calways be off at the wall when not in use, but if you want to then press the two left and the second to last button all at the same time

Fisher and... | Answered on Jun 01, 2018

to be honest you should always turn it off at the wall when not in use for safety reasons most common one is to press the two far left buttons and the second to last button all at the same time
