Ryobi bp42 backpack blower won't stay running and spit out gas
Common issues and possible solutions:
Fuel-Related Issues:
Check the Fuel Level: Ensure that the blower has enough fuel in the tank. If it's running low, refill it with fresh, properly mixed fuel as specified in the user manual. Remember to use the correct fuel-to-oil ratio to avoid engine damage.
Inspect Fuel Lines: Examine the fuel lines for any clogs, kinks, or leaks. Clean or replace them if necessary.
Clean the Carburetor: A dirty or clogged carburetor can cause starting and running problems. Remove the carburetor, clean it thoroughly, and check for any damaged components. Replace the diaphragm and gasket if needed.
Spark Plug Issues:
Check the Spark Plug: Inspect the spark plug for signs of wear, fouling, or damage. Ensure it's properly gapped and functioning. If needed, replace the spark plug
.
Air Filter and Intake System:
Clean the Air Filter: A clogged air filter can affect performance. Remove the air filter, clean it, and ensure proper airflow.
Inspect the Intake System: Make sure the intake manifold is secure and not loose. Tighten any screws or connections.
Heat Soak:
Sometimes, backpack blowers experience heat soak, where the engine becomes too hot to start. Allow the blower to cool down before attempting to restart it.
Compression and Ignition Coil:
Compression Test: Check the engine's compression using a compression tester. Low compression may indicate internal engine issues
.
Test the Ignition Coil: Ensure the ignition coil is functioning correctly. A faulty coil can lead to starting problems.
I've a 5 litre garden pressure sprayer and it's not functioning properly. It is pumping pressure but then it's leaking it all out at top of the green handle.
Here are some steps you can follow:
Check the Seals and O-Rings:
Release the pressure: Make sure there's no pressure in the cylinder by releasing the pressure release valve.
Unscrew the pump: Remove the pump to access the internal components.
Inspect the seals and O-rings:
Look for any damaged or worn-out rubber seals.
Check the rubber seal at the bottom of the tube (where the plunger sits) and ensure it's in place.
Examine the one-way valve (usually at the bottom of the tube) and clean it. Lubricate it with silicone grease.
Lubricate the rubber washer on the plunger with silicone grease and reassemble it in the tube.
Reassemble the pump: Put the plunger back into the tube and lock it with the handle.
Test the sprayer: Pump it up and check if it maintains pressure without leaking.
Inspect the Handle and Hose:
Handle connection: Ensure the handle is securely attached to the cylinder.
Hose inspection: Check the hose for kinks, twists, or blockages. Straighten out any kinks and remove debris that might be blocking the hose.
Check the Nozzle and Wand:
Nozzle adjustment: Adjust the nozzle to the desired spray pattern.
Wand inspection: Examine the spray wand for clogs or obstructions.
Lubricate O-Rings and Seals:
Apply silicone grease to the O-rings, seals, and other moving parts to ensure smooth operation.
Test the Sprayer:
Fill the cylinder to the desired level (avoid exceeding the maximum fill mark).
Screw down the pump firmly to create an airtight seal.
Manually operate the pressure release valve to ensure it's working.

What is the transportation ring on a huskvarna chain saw
The transportation ring on a Husqvarna chainsaw is a small metal ring that is sometimes fitted onto one of the bolts when the saw is new. Its purpose is to prevent the chain from rotating during transportation or storage. If your chainsaw has this ring, you should remove it before using the saw. Keep it in a safe place so you can use it again if needed. If you're looking for more information about Husqvarna chainsaws, you can refer to the operator's manual for detailed instructions.

Looking for a oil filter
I don't think fram has a filter for it, but you can get the filter at NAPA, Lowes, Home Depot, O'Riley's, Sears, or any small engine shop. According to Sears Parts website the model # that you gave has a Briggs and Stratton model # 445577-0284-e1 engine; however a B & S or Kohler engine manufacturer's filter with fit your engine. They are interchangeable. The B & S part number is 696854 or 120485.
Hope this helps. Please vote yes if it did. Thanks
