If the OS keeps on crashing, it may be due to the issue with the Hard disk. If the system is still under warranty then you can ask them to replace the Hard disk stating that it keeps on crashing.
Or if the machine is old, then you can buy a new hard disk and replace it with the old one...
It should work...!
Plz comment back for any queries...
Cheers... :)

Windows 7 crash on windows is loading when i boot

If you can boot to safe mode, but do not get anything on the screen, try pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to bring up task manager. See if anything is running. If you don't have anything, it could be that you need to start explorer.exe. You may need to pull your hard drive, backup your files and reload the OS.

I have changed my boot order in bios to CD drive first but windows keeps loading first, how can I stop this and boot straight from the CD drive?

This only works if you have a bootable disc inserted. It will auto roll to next item in boot sequence. Test disc elsewhere if this the case.

  • the switch is bad Lid close switch
  • set wrong in power settings.

so why not just assign the sleep mode, to auto sleep
then on what does the power button do in settings, set to do nothing or set button to only sleep . (3 choices here)
or

let auto sleep do the work, set. set to say 5min idle.
the switch is inside it deep and if you rip it out as you go there most noobs break 2 or 3 FFC cable jacks and now it is bricked and $300 mobo wrecked

Good Morning: I have an Acer Aspire 5920

Hello,

As by your description, the FN F7 key combo did not solve the problem. Please restart the machine , press F8 then select from the list "Safe mode" then press enter. Then see how the Touch pad reacts in Safe mode. If it works perfectly in safe mode, we can assume you have a software problem that is preventing it from working in normal windows mode.

Please download and install the latest BIOS for your machine. The E525 has a issue where the TP just stops working, upgrading the BIOS solves the issue on the E525...
