To remove the chuck from a Wilmar KFF-6 drill, follow these steps:
Turn off and unplug the drill.
Locate the chuck key that came with the drill.
Insert the key into the chuck and turn it counterclockwise to loosen the jaws of the chuck.
Remove the chuck key from the chuck.
Grasp the chuck with one hand and hold the handle of the drill with the other hand.
Turn the chuck counterclockwise to remove it from the spindle.
If the chuck is stuck and won't loosen, you may need to apply some penetrating oil to the threads and let it sit for a few minutes before attempting to remove the chuck again. You can also try using a rubber mallet to gently tap the chuck counterclockwise to loosen it.

No you don't have to buy Delta's chuck key. MOST drill press chuck keys are very similar but if you do order another companies key and it doesn't fit, you may be stuck with it. If you have a local tool repair center that carries keys you can try one and if it don't work, return it. The Delta part number for your chuck key is 1313104. It is avaliable from Dewalt (they own Delta) on their service website at http://servicenet.dewalt.com. You can also get it at aftermarket sites like www.ereplacementparts.com for only $11 plus shipping.
With the chuck open as far as possible, look within the jaws of the chuck for a bolt or screw head that attaches the chuck to the shaft. Remove the bolt/screw and remove the chuck. Some chucks can also be screwed onto the shaft, so look for signs of threads at the base of the chuck. Otherwise, once the bolt/screw is removed, tap along the outside around the chuck with a plastic hammer to loosen the chuck. Penetrating oil will help. Take your chuck with you to a "big box" type hardware store, where a replacement should be available. Any well stocked hardware store should be able to help you. I have found that the somewhat smaller hardware stores are usually staffed with knowledgeable persons, and getting a replacement ordered is easier. One is more likely to be stocked in the larger stores. The name brand of the chuck isn't as important for a replacement as is the correct shaft size and style of fit. Best regards, --W/D--
That can happen if the jaws inside the chuck, usually 3 triangular pieces get jammed together. With chuck facing down tap chuck several times to loosen jaws. If that doesn't work spray a small amount of WD-40 into chuck and try again

To remove the chuck on your drill follow the instructions for the type of drill chuck you have: Instructions for removing a keyed chuck
Most reversing drills have a left hand threaded screw located inside the bottom of the chuck. 1.) If the unit has this screw place the chuck key, with the chuck facing toward you, into one of the holes on the right side of the chuck. Strike the key in a clockwise direction with a wooden mallet or similar object. This will loosen the screw inside the chuck.
2.) Open chuck jaws fully. Insert screwdriver into the bottom of the chuck to engage screw head. Remove screw by turning clockwise this is a left-hand screw.
3.) With the chuck facing toward you place the key into one of the holes on the left side of the chuck. Using a wooden mallet or similar object, strike the key sharply in a counter-clockwise direction. This will loosen the chuck so that it may be unscrewed by hand.
There is no way to stop the motor from turning. It may require several attempts to loosen the chuck Instructions for removing a keyless chuck
