Until we know exatly what e-mail program she uses then we cant say its a provider issue, it more than likely is, however if she is using outlook or outlook express then the problem could be on her end, hard to give a definitive solution without all the information
This is going to be a problem on your email providers end, not on your end, and it's definitely not a problem with your laptop. You will want to contact their support, it could be a glitch that they know about and are working on, or it could be something that they don't know about, and by bringing it to their attention they will get it fixed.

What program do you use to send your e-mails, Outlook or Outlook express or is it a web based e-mail, yahoo, hotmail, gmail etc..
