I recently bought a 60' Projection Phillips TV Model 60PP9202/17
but it didn't come with a remote. All the universal remote codes that I have tried to program it to the universal remote and/or to my dish network remote don't work. I need to program it to a remote to access the convergence menu to fix the color but nothing we've tried works.

You will need the original remote to acces the convergence setting adjustments. You can get the original remote for your model from www.tvrepairworld.com

what is the your phillips remote model number? Model number is located under the batteries. then go to www.p4c.philips.com to get the codes...hope this helps

For the majority of phillips/magnavox universal remotes: Hold code search button down till red light satys on. Press the tv button and the red light should blink and stay lit. With the tv on, push the power button repeatedly until the tv turns off.(dont push the power button again after the tv turns off or it will go to the next code). Push the mute button to save the setting.
A magnavox remote should program like the phillips universal. I will post the link. If this doesnt help post the model number of the magnavox remote that you are trying to program. the model number is usually in the battery compartment. http://www.universal-remote.net/philipsmagnavox.html
