You should need another DVD player program for playing your dvd. Some programs cannot decode the DVDs and then you should use a region-free player such as Leawo Blu-ray Player.

You most likely don't have a DVD decoder program. Download something like VLC player and trying your DVD. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ If this isn't your problem, please provide more details.
