This television uses a feature called a V-Chip which allows parental control and consequently blocks channels of your choice. This set is approximately 7 years old and the owners manual is no longer available on line. You can over ride any blocked channel by entering the menu, select parental controls and enter the "secret" code. How one channel got blocked is a mystery. I suspect someone was exploring it's features when they accidentally blocked a channel. Normally the system control works flawlessly and if you have no other symptoms you need to reset that channel. Most RCA and GE TV sets use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The code reset procedure is different depending on the model. Try each method until you find one that works:
