I spent about an hour web searching, but I did find the model number of the power cord. From there, I searched the model number and found numerous websites that carried it.

Hi. By static, do you mean 'snow' image ? DVD players must be connected to AV inputs and selected as an AV signal, either by using the remote control, either using the local controls in the set itself. If you see, what you call static, means that your TV is on "a" channel without areal input. (antenna inputsignal). You can use the local TV channel button (-), go all the way down below channel 1. There the AV inputs are located. Good luck.

if it is a glass tube with a small bit of wire in the middle, maybe painted or with a label round the tube, two metal end caps, and a springy clip holder then yes, its a fuse. You should be able to get the same one at most hardware stores depending on the rating. usually the rating will be stamped in tiny letters on the side of one of the metal end caps, or on the tube if it is painted or labelled. It would say something like 6A or possibly 500mA or similar or maybe just the numbers with no A or mA. take the old one with you and you should be able to get a box of them cheap enough if you want. even if it has no numbers printed on it - look where the spring clips are and next to them or between them it will probably have printed "F1" or similar (meaning first fuse), and a rating like 10A etc. get one that is the same as the printed rating instead of the old one that came out if they are different. you might be lucky and find the one you got from the other tv is the correct one anyway, but you should check. no. its worthless. unless you dont have a tv throw it away. make sure to recycle it.

The light does indicat that there is power to the sety but that doesnt mean that the power supplys working . Theres nothing uyou can do unless your a trained tech. The set should still have a parts warranty. Good Luck

1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.

You can go to any tv repair shop, they carry a large selection of fuses for various types of repairs.

The remote has an input button that will switch it to video mode. Most stores sell the rca / ge replacement remotes.

Try hooking up the dvd player and turning it on. Then use the setup and add/erase channel feature to look thru all of the channels. On my older GE tv I found that channel 91 was the correct channel for the video input. I saw the logo for the dvd player on this channel. I just added that channel and now it works. Your channel might be different.

If your tv has video in socket (yellow color)and audio in socket(white color),you will connect the dvd player audio video output. it will give give clarity picture. your tv have not av socketyou can connect your dvd player audio video output to converter audio video input.And then connect to converter RFout to tv Rf input(antenna socket)and tune the tv you wlii get picture.

Go to www.remotes.com they should have a replacement or you can get an RCA,GE,or THOMSON brand name universal remote that will not require programming because the codes start with GE codes. Thanks for using fixya.

No it's not hidden but don't fret just open your wallet.

You need what is called an RF Modulator. All you do is connect your A/V component ( DVD ) to the modulator's input jacks, then connect the modulator to your TV's antenna/cable input and select channel 3 or 4 operation.

Your local department or super center should have it. If not you can always go to a Radio Shack near you they will have it.
