does it pump out all the water when it spins the first time? when they spin slow sometimes the pump is not pumping out all the water causing it to spin slow.
Ok, when this happens, its usually because of a drainage issue. the spin cycle has to work in conjunction with the drain pump to remove the water during the spin cycle and, if there is a clog or drainage issue, the spin cycle will shutdown. check the following to address this drainage issue.
1. Clogged drain line or water pump
Check to see if there's something stuck inside the pump or the drain
hose connected to the pump (pump is usually located at the bottom
and towards the back of the washing machine).
2. Water Pump
If the drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the
water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's
the case replace the water pump. Note: if you have a belt driven
washer, check the belt(s) for cracks, as this would be a perfect
time to replace the belt(s) if needed.
Try looking to see if the little motor is spinning the drain pump. It is in the bottom right. Occasionally I get a small metal shard which locks the pump and therefore-no draining. You can undo everything and check the pump for blockage. Then if need be, replace the mechanisim. The parts are all on line, as is the manual. or call 800 776-3538
I don't know this model at all, but hada similar set of syptoms on an electrolux .....
Just a thought, but have you checked the pump chanber is not impeded by a stray hairgrip, or bit of wire?
The fact it doesn't pump when it should, but allows water to pass when the centrifugal force of a spin cycle builds up, would indicate that maybe its the pump that either has a jammed impeller, or a blown motor (or fuse).
Had the same problem. The water pump is not working and since it cant drain water it wont spin. A easy fix. There's a magnet located on the water pump thats comes lose. Simply tie it back into place.
