For some reason the printer cannot read the electronic strip correctly on the cartridge. Make sure the protective tape has been removed prior to install. Also, make sure the cartridge has been carefully installed properly so that the electronic strip meets the backing close enough to read. If there is any ink left on this area, that can cause interference too. clean with alcohol and clear debris. After you reset everything, unplug power cord and leave separate for a couple minutes. reattach and try again. good luck!

Epson printer will not print any copies. I get the message "change cartridges 98/99." I did change both cartidges and can't clear the message and print copies.

i assume that everytime you try to print you get the same message. i sometimes get cartridge unrecognised on my epsom. I have to remove the cartridge, wipe the chip on the cartridge and reinsert.

If this doesnt work please specify printer model and if using original epsom cartridges.

My printer keeps telling me "print cartridge

Hello,
Maybe the contacts where the cartridge sits are dirty. What you can do is remove both cartridges and turn the printer off, pulling the power cable out so that the cartridge holder remain in the change position and you can see it. Then clean the gold contacts with a piece of cotton fabric soaked with medical alcohol. Left the printer turned off for 10-15 minutes so that the contacts become dry. Then turn it on and reinstall the cartridges. This might help.

Dell 3100n keeps saying "Change Black Toner" even

Before installing a new toner, put a disposable towel over the ink toner exit, and shake your toner lightly back and forth and up and down. Make sure your toner cartridge is in the open position before replacing it in your printer.

If you are using a refillable ink cartridge, make sure you are resetting the cartridge using the method described by the refillable manufacturer.

If this does not answer your question please request more information before voting on my answer. I will try to find more information about your toner cartridge that will help you futher.

Ink Cartridges are full but keeps telling me they are not to then

as a printer mechanic .i had got many customers coming at my work shop with this problem .and it gets soved by replacing the cartridge with new cartridge.as you said cartridges are full still it says change cartridges.but if the circuit of the cartridge is got faulty it will not print let it be full.so clean the brown colour metal circuit on the cartridge with a dry tissue.if its due to dust got stuck up on the circuit it will print otherwise the cartridge has to be changed in this case.

I have changed the black ink cartridge and my lexmark 125 keeps telling me to change the black ink cartridgeand I can not get the thing to copy for me. All it does is keep telling to change the black...

After you get the carriage centered to remove the ink, power off the printer. If you replaced the cartridge with a new cartridge check cartridge for tape residual that might be covering the copper contacts. ( you may not be able to see this).
If you use a refill kit. Most printer Mfg's insert a chip in all there ink cartridges. This chip tracks when you remove an empty cartridge through the printer software. So it knows you replaced the same cartridge forcing you to buy another.
You can also clean the copper ink cartridge contacts with some alcohol & cotton swabs. (Careful not to drip excessive alcohol onto the bottom of the cartridge). Clean the carriage contacts as well. Re-place the cartridge & try again.

Luck!
