Audio device is missing

his is common problem in lap tops , cyber link you cam device don't work some time.


For troubleshooting-


Step-1 Check out the Device Manager>Imaging Devices(Is there webcam available?)

If webcam in not available in drown link the its mean you missed the driver.

Where you will find Application to run your video Cyber-Link You-Cam Device?

Step 2- If not the search the Installation Disks for Media Smart or Download driver for cyber-cam for your device Model.


Tip- You can check your device by running Skype On your Computer System,

If by "volume", you mean Audio, then this sounds like an Audio/Sound Driver fault or corruption.

When Audio/Sound Drivers are either not installed or the Audio/Sound Card/Chip is Disabled or Uninstalled in Device Manager, the Windows Volume and Mixer Controls can become Disabled until the Drivers are installed or repaired

Reinstall the Windows XP Audio/Sound Driver for the brand, type and model number of your computer from its Driver and Utilities CD. If you have no CD, download the Drivers and Utilities from the Support & Downloads Page of the computer manufacturer's website.

You can download the audio and device drivers from the Compaq/HP WEBsupport/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the Windowsdrivers you require and install them. Click on this link to download thedrivers: -

Since you don't clarify your operating system (Win XP, Vista, Win 7), I suggest you yo go at this official link:

hello

you have to search and downloads the driver of your audio controller, you must know the model of *********** board or there is cd coming with the motherboard when you purchased it. if you dont have you will know the modl of your m-board by presing CTRL+R then typed dxdiag and enter.


just leave the msg or give me *********** board model and i can give you the link of your driver.

You may have to identify your audio device on the motherboard if you do not know this type in unknown device identifier into Google and download this small program then double click on it and run the program This should list all the hardware in your computer go the the soundcard entry and it should tell you the make you can click on a link to a driver for this device or once you know it go to a web site called driverguide.com fill out the free registration and download the make and make sure it is for your OS once installed reboot the computer and it should work

P5PE-VM Click Search. Click the + sign next to Audio.
Choose your operating system while choosing the SoundMax AD1888 Audio Driver. Create a Folder on your Desktop & download file to that folder. The file has to be uncompressed before you can install the setup.exe file.
