You do not need a CD to configure the router. Simply, hook up the router to your modem, and make sure a computer you will use to configure it is plugged into the router.

Once everything is turned on, you can simple go to the router homepage by typing in your gateway ip address in your internet browser(like going to a website).

Usually, the gateway IP address is 192.168.1.1

Once you type this in the internet browser, it should take you to the configuration page.

I appreciate a thumbs up if this helps!

WCR-G54 router, wireless access has no internet connection, local only. Why?

If your wireless card in your computer/laptop has not been configured with your wireless router's settings then it cannot connect to the wireless router. That is why you only get Internet connect when you are connect with a LAN cable.
To secure your wireless network from unauthorized access, please click on this link and follow my instructions :-

I need to connect to one PC trougth my buffalo router, I have the Public IP, but I don{t konw hoe to configure the router and the pc

Are you trying to set up router ?
You can set up your router manually, without the CD.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online directly through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem, that means the modem is working fine.
You will need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

Cannotuse my desktop and laptop simultaneously with wcr-g54, if the other connects the other hang or have limited or no connection

Are you using router/ Then you are using same IP adress at the same time try to change the last number on one of the unit if one is 192.168.1.5 then the other should use 192.168.1.10. Its on the LAN setting if you using static IP.
