There is big transistor TL010 attached with heat sink near flyback transformer, this is horizontal output transistor, check it and replace if found shorted.

DM power board have some dead capacitors.Some capacitors bulge up,best indicatoin it dead,some u must used a multimeter to test.U know how to use a soldering iron and solder?Change all the DM power board capacitors,should get power back to ur tv.Try website Tv repair World.com maybe still selling this refurbish DM power board.

My tv is relatively new, but the bad thing is that I had an old; big screen tube type rca model; home theatre, that was heavier than a car, and it went out, due to the cracking and popping sound, off sometimes, and back on.
What is strange is the new tv now, the hdtv, light weight, about five years old, is doing the same thing. Actually, now, the power will not even come on. The lcd green light in the front goes on and off.
Take no offense, but I thought I would not have these problems anymore. What do you suggest?

rca model d52w20byx1 itc222. sounds like shutdown mode. Does the led flash. unplug the set leave set unplug for 30 min. this reset procesor. now i tell you this in the shop its never that simple but it first step. IF you have a flashing led when you push power button. it tells you alot. it tells you main fuse is good the processor is getting power and it detects something wrong. leading causes are shorted horzontal output transistor. shorted cp150 capacitor. technicians have a computer that read error codes much like that of a car. let me know if i can help troubleshoot it down.

CHECK THE SIMPLE THINGS --MAKE SURE THE PLUG IS STILL PLUGGED IN AC...IF YOU HAD SOME POWER INTERUPTIONS ...MAY HAVE BLOWN THE MAIN FUSE BY THE POWER CORD.DO YOU SEE ANY LED LITES ON THE FRONT OF TV..POWER INDICATOR??? .REMEMBER ,ALWWAY S UNPLUG THE TV IF YOU TAKE THE BACK OFF...TUNICA

Check HERE and provide the vendor with the chassis number as well.
The model number helps but the chassis number is very important.
