Try to do some cleaning and alignment. You can access that by going to your printing preferences and clicking on the maintennance tab. Or, pull up the document that you want to print. Click File, then click print. Click on Printing Preferences and click on the Maintennance tab. The tab would have different levels of cleaning.

Hi, I have a canon pixma mp150. I have recently replaced the colour ink cartridge but for some reason it wont print yellow and will hardly print blue. I have now tried 2 new cartridges and both are the...

Probably you've already tried the steps at about pages 79 and 90 in the manual . Try also cleaning off the nubs that touch the contacts on the cartridge. They might have some ink vapor coating them. If none of this helps, the printhead is clogged or defective. Sometimes a printhead cleaner will help.

You can try taking all the cartridges out, turning off the printer, let it sit for a couple minutes, reinstalling the cartridges, and turning back on. This is more like voodoo magic, but once in a while it works.

If not, then you pretty much have to kiss off the printer since the printhead is not replaceable.

I cant find the manual to canon pixma mp150.

Hi Irene
You solve the problem by replacing the empty ink cartridge.
Most printers (not just Canon) are designed to stop working if an ink cartridge is empty. This is to prevent the nozzles for the empty colour overheating and destroying themselves - the ink passing through acts as the coolant.

Refilled ink cartridges problem colour

this is not a printer problem, you have a problem with colour cartridge! u can fix this in 2 diferent way: 1. replace the colour cartridge with new one, or gently clean the nozzle cartridge with a wet tissue until the cyan colour mark a line on the tissue just like the others colours: yellow and magenta. maybe must repeat this several times.
