I need all of the drivers for HP M7250N pc. I found the one for the ethernet card but need the chipset one. I found one but that did ot seem to fix the problem

I already knew about the website. The correct drivers are not there.

The drivers for your machine are on the HP website. Here's a link

Please let me know which Operating system and exactly which drivers you are looking for. I'll try and locate them for you. Is it the Intel Chipset drivers?

windows xp, I need the drivers to fix the video controllers and the pci simple communications controller in device manager
don't know exactly which chipset it is, does not say in device manager

The PCI simple communications controller is most probably the modem drivers. I believe they're listed on the link I posted earlier. A for the video controller, try the link below. If you can't click it, copy and paste it onto your browser.

install the drivers again for the dvd drive(check model)
install the card reader driver.If this not works start install all driver s again.Start with the chipset driver and restart after every install.hope this works for you.

Eathernet no longer works but connecting through USB works fine. How can I tell if it is a card or just a driver?

If ethernet previously worked with this card and driver, issue is not the driver unless it has become corrupted. In device manager, uninstall ethernet card and then reinstall with driver (assuming you have it). If card does not work with reinstalled driver, odds are you fried the card.

You could try the card in another computer if you have one. In the meantime try another ethernet card if available.

Ethernet controller not found

Hi,
Check Toshiba website for chipset drivers as you will probably find that the ethernet controller software is embedded in the chipset driver file.
Install the chipset driver and then check your ethernet card once more.
