Remove the deck from the mower, take off the blade, take off the deck drive belt, take out the bolts which hold the mandrel to the deck. put new mandrel in, reverse the whole order. do yourself a favor and take lots of before pictures so you do not have to ask how to put the belts back on. mandrels can be obtained at small engine and mower repair shops. you may just want to replace all of them while you have it apart as they are all the same age and wear.

ACER ASPIRE X3910 EVENT ID 41 KERNEL POWER CRITICAL

If it just stopped and restarted proper is nothing to worry cause it seam just like a memory dumping error or so ..If it asks to choose a boot on start ..just start normally or choose to start with the last known configuration that worked.
If it do not want to start it may be a case of corrupted boot file ..and need to repair the boot configuration using a operation system disk or the recovery partition ..My advice is to reinstall a clean copy if it makes troubles again ..It may have something in the system that cause it ..and reinstalling will remove the settings and programs ..and when you install them again try them one by one ..and you will know which one is not supported..

I purchased a used Craftsman LT 1000 17 hp 42"

I've had to do this at least 5 times. If you look under the body, there are two supports that carry the mower deck and lift and lower it. Each of these has a nut that holds up the deck and the nut is on a stud that goes up and down when you raise or lower the lever. Put the deck in the middle of it's range, around #3, make sure the key is off, move your blades so they are on the right and left edge of the deck.
Get yourself a device to measure blade to ground height, I have a block of wood that is 3 inches long. Make sure your floor or ground is level and tires are properly pumped up. Then raise or lower the adjustment nuts until both sides are equal height.

Check for foreign objects caught under the deck, as well as for a bent blade. If that's not the problem, look at the mower deck belt - is it burnt or worn in a spot? Take it off, and see if you can turn the blade spindles and idler pulley freely. If they scrape badly or are frozen in place, that's the problem.

Craftsman lt 2000, blade not staying in place

i would need a complete sears model number to look this up for you, however, you will need to remove the intire blade spindle housing, then you can remove just the shaft from the housing. and just replace the shaft. Will save a lt of money.
if you can find the complete model number you can go on the internet to

mtd.com/parts or to ayp.com/parts

and you can pull up a parts diagram and find the exact part number and order it online, or take model number to sears and they will either have it in stock or can order it for you. Sears will however cost you a fair amount more then ordering online. I hope this helps you

Instructions for fixing the choke on a Craftsman LT-1000 lawn tra

I have been hearing alot of this problem. Well it is gravity flow. I just bought a 2002 lt1000 17 hp without a carb the guy was having the same problem so he sent the carb away to get checked out and low and behold it got lost. He waited the summer to see if it would show up but it did not. He got mad and bought a new bigger one. Any ways i am waiting on a new one. Now in my reading these problems i discovered that the fuel line coming out of the tank to the carb is lower. Might be somthing to look at. JIM

Sounds like the rings are worn and letting oil escape past them into the cylinder head. After all, it's been in service a long time. There are several options, including a rebuild with boring out the cylinder and put oversize rings in, buying a new engine and replacing the old one, or just buying a new mower.
