Question moved from Cars and Trucks to one of the Lawn Tractor categories. That has all the indications of a battery that has reduced voltage and no cold cranking amps. There is just enough power to light the LEDS and make the relay click. Remove the battery and charge it up. Clean the terminals and connectors with a wire brush and smear them with Vaseline. THE answer that FINALLY worked for me. Torque the bolt that holds on the blade to the recommended torque specified in your owners manual (for my Exmark this torque is 120 ft-lbs). When I first used the torque wrench, i was quite surprised by the amount of addional force I needed to apply to reach 120 ft-lbs Exmark blades have a round blade hole with a washer and therefore, relies only on friction provided by torquing bolt to the proper torque to prevent slippage so that the blade rotates at the same speed as the spindle. When slippage between the blade and spindle occurs, blade tip speed slows leaving uncut grass. Note: this solution will NOT work for mowers with a blade and spindle design which uses a positive means (e.g., a star shaped hole on the blade) that assures the blade rotates at the same speed as the spindle with no slippage.

I would take the bowl off the bottom of the carb.. Probably you have clogged up holes that let the gas into the bowl.Or either the needle is stuck up not allowing the gas to flow...That's why pouring gas in carbs would let it run for s few seconds....Also try fresh gas..Gas doesn't have led in it anymore..It don't last year from year...After grass season is over..Buy some from Lowe's or home depot..Pour it into your tank and let the motor run to get it done into the carburetor...Then the next year it will start

If you had included model no. I could have been more help but you probably will have to replace drive plate and or more in transmission. If you go to searspartsdirect.com and in model number type in, hopefully you will get parts breakdown of the transmission showing parts.

sounds like the spindel bearings going bad next time feel spindles for heat ounds like one or more are bad need to be replaced.

Is the mower blades engaged if so check spindels if not check the transmisson but check all pulleys first

Ihave craftsman Lawn Tractor was cutting grass and it stop moving forward or backward. Can you help me

it could be a fuw things doing this,,,
check that the engine is charging the battery up when its running,,use a volt meeter across the battery it should show 13.5 volts if its charging up ok,,,,

then check that the voltage regulator is not draining the battery when the engine is not running,,,

fully recharge the battery first then check that it holds this charge,, take off the battery lead and leave the mower for a week or so if the battery has gone flat then you need a new battery!! winter time kills off batterys if there not kept on trickel charge,,,
there's a tip,,,,buy a solar charger,,,and hook it to the battery when your not using the mower,,it will keep the battery toped up for free???

look at the plastic connector where the steering shaft meets the main gear the plastic wears out and the gears jump out of time its a $15 part at sears parts online
