Since it doesn't have enough RAM in it, some BDs or larger multi-layer
DVDs fail to play/load entirely Its slow
to buffer BD, and even slower to upscale DVDs. It doesn't support homemade DVD+/-R movies. It also doesn't support video on CD.
SOLUTION:
to get the movie to play add a 4GB SD card into it and format it
for use as extra memory. Apparently, some BDs require a lot of memory.
By adding the SD card, DVDs and THE BDs load faster and have no
play problems. The overall downside to the RAM issues and the SD card
is that, when the SD card gets full, you will have to reformat it to get
anything to play. Tho, all lost disc info needs to be rebuffered onto
the card the next time you watch the movie.

We searched the internet and found out that many people had the same problem as us and the reason for the problem is a defective part. You have to call panasonic and mail the whole unit back to them for the needed repairs. It really stinks to have to give up our player for so long but what else do you do? Never buy panasonic I guess.
I thought that I deleted all of my information from your website when we discovered our problem. Please do not charge me for this. Also please get rid of my info. If I ever do need help again I am happy to try your site. Thanks for asking.

Have you updated the firmware on it? I had a similar problem with a Sony blu-ray player and I had to download an update and burn it on to a CD then allow the CD to update the blu-ray player. What's the model number of your player, I may be able to get a link to the update for you.
