Cuisinart Grind and Brew 10 cup Coffee Maker Model # CUI DGB-600BC This machine usually works perfectly. It is now overflowing while brewing. I have thoughly cleaned all the parts with vinegar and water. It still overflowed. Any suggestions?

    Mine flows great out of the filter holder but the carafe lid is where it starts to overflow. I've cleaned the lid but it just doesn't seem to be able to take it all in fast enough. So then I have to sit there and babysit it by pulling it out when the lid is full and letting it drain down into the carafe and then replacing it under the filter. Any suggestions?

    will not turn on. the on light illuminates when the switch is depressed but goes out when released

Had the same problem.... took a toothpick and cleaned out the outlets in the top of the carafe. Solved the problem

This coffee maker (10 c maker with grinder) beeps it's done every few minutes with water left. we have to brew about 5 times for a full pot, what gives?
Presume this is the Grind & Brew Thermal™ 10-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker, Model # DGB-600BCC

Review the sections beginning on page 11 of the pdf on Turning Off the Grind Function (if not using the grind feature) and Making Coffee.

Make sure you are turning off the grind function if using preground coffee and that the reservoir lid is securely closed.

Check the Cups Setting button; is sounds like the 1-4 feature may be turned on.

Coffee doesn't brew full pot
Run 2 cups distilled white vinegar and 2 cups water through the system - brew it like it was regular coffee. Then run plain water through the coffemaker to rinse the vinegar out and make sure the decalcification was successful. Repeat as needed. Don't forget to remove the charcoal water filters first.

Grind and Brew thermal (model CUI DGB 600BC)coffee filter cup hard to open, now won't close. Cup where beans are added, bean cup difficult to open as well. Need to find repair place near zip code 95127.
That problem is endemic to this grind and brew only - find out if you are still in warranty - try and get a DGB-550BK as a replacement - the 600 is the only one with this problem. Replacing it with the same model will likely lead to the same result.
Here is the basic troubleshooting for the Cuisinart coffee makers:
Make sure all baskets are in proper place – especially if unit is beeping.
Do not use a paper and a gold-tone or other permanent filter at the same time.
Unplug for LONGER THAN 15 full minutes to reset.
Clean by brewing 2 oz of distilled white vinegar/2 oz water.
If these methods fail, the unit probably requires replacement – call Cuisinart as they have a longer-than-standard warranty.
