I couldn't find any informations about EM228, but if you've meant EM227 instead, the pairing code is '0000' (four zeros).. If its user guide happens to be missing, or, rather, you need further informations on how to pair it with your phone, feel free to download it from this location.
Please, let me know if I can help you any further. Regards, Carlos
The passkey for most of the bluetooth headsets manufactured by Emerson is '0000' (four zeros). However, for some models, like the EM250 and EM252, they set it to '1234'.
As you have not specified your headset's model, I hope one of these codes works for you.
Cheers!
Carlos
Phone passcode:
if you haven't actually manually changed it, the password is always the
last four digits of your phone number (ex. 1-555-868-2212 your password
is 2212). If you manually changed it, you need to call your cell phone
provider and have
that worked out.
With your phone closed press and hold the center button on the bluetooth until it starts blinking blue and red the open your phone and go to blue tooth> ad new device> then it will go to pairing then auto pairing and that should do it
Try setting different visibility settings on your phone (i.e. Visible, Hidden, and Temporary are the three for Bluetooth on my Palm Centro.) It did not work on the hidden setting, even though the Centro could detect the headset, but when I switched it to Visible, it connected to it. You have the right passcode, because, incidentally, I was searching for the passcode to the headset (I thought it would be an successive sequence like 1234, which did not work), and 0000 worked for the EM226 I own. If it does not work I recommend that you contact either Samsung or Emerson (Samsung being the one who will be able to most help you).
