This is tricky. are you sure they don't work or are you not properly accessing them with your input selector. also what ever your plugging in must be on to be recognized.
Try plugging it in and turning on what ever you are plugging into it them use the input selector till you get to the hdmi port. if it still wont work try leaving it all plugged in and turn it all off & back on again. that might make it recognize it.
good luck.

Have a tv m/no led49d23001 will not suport netflix and the hdmi jacks dont work

How do the hdmi jack not work? Will the plugs not insert properly? If you mean there's no signal from them, try changing the "Source" (button on the remote) to the proper hdmi port.

HDMI PORTS DONT WORK

Hello,

You will need to replace the main video logic board, its part number is either EBU60852909 or EBU60852911. These two board are direct replacement parts. There are several boards available on Ebay such as this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LG-46LD550-UB-Main-BPR-Total-Assembly-EBU60852909-subs-to-EBU60852911-/150895037335?pt=US_TV_Boards_Parts_Components&hash=item23220b8b97

HDMI PORTS NOT WORKING

Try visually inspecting HDMI’s that are not working. Occasionally, pins on HDMI connectors are getting bent or pushed-in. If you can spot the damage, fix would be to replace HDMI connectors. If connector are not damaged, then main unit of the TV has to be replaced.

I cannot get the Input 3 HDMI port to work. The Input 3 Componet videoworks, but when I unplug the componet video and put in HDMI port nothing works. I do have something else in the HDMI Input 1 port...

Hi.

To start ensure that each time you connect or disconnect the HDMI ports both TV and connected device are off.

Also ensure that HDMI input is active, as detailed here.

HDMI connectors carry voltage, and connecting the HDMI cable while TV or device is on may easily damage the HDMI port, making it unusable.

The HDMI 3 and Component 3 are separate input. The component input may work, and HDMI port may still be defective.

To test the port do the following:

Disconnect TV power cord, and connected device (eg. Receiver, DVD etc.).
Leave units disconnected for five minutes.

While power is disconnected, test connecting on port three a device that was previously working on HDMI 1. Also use a cable that you know is working.

Connect back power with HDMI cable already connected. If HDMI 3 is still not detected, then the port is defective.

In that case ring Pioneer at the number listed on the owners manual. This model is often advertised as only two HDMI inputs. Call Pioneer to ensure the third port can be enabled.

I have a 37" Insignia L37Q tv with 4 HDMI inputs. Only HDMI 1 works properly. If I hook up an HDMI device to any of the other HDMI ports I get one of the following: 1. No signal 2. Not supported 3....

Try plugging hdmi cable into hdmi 1 on your TV, then open the menu on TV and find the place it lets you to make selections on this, such as Satellite or hdmi 1. One of these selections have to work.
---------
does the hdmi port gets detected when you try in other hdmi ports.if not getting detected then it can also be fault in the hdmi ports.because as you said that hdmi port number 1 works.that means wires are proper.but other hdmi ports not working that means the ports are faulty if all the setting are proper in setup.
as the ports are soldered to the unit internally.if the soldering gets loose the connection will not get complete.so re-soldering is required to the loose ports.

if you are not familiar with doing this you can get it done by local repair technician familiar with this model .

This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya.

I have sharp 37 inch LC-37D44U MY PS3 is not working with it it green lights keep blinking power light and OPC. BUT THE HDMi ports work beacause i checked it with other devices. so i dont know why its not...

Does this happen when you input certain signals to the HDMI2_bing.gif ports? Or all signals (e.g. 1080i, 720p, 1080p, etc.)? And which ports are affected - side HDMI, rear component, etc.?

I had this issue and Sharp sent out a local repair tech to install a new main circuit board, then two weeks later, a new side board (where the side inputs connect into the system)... their first visit allowed my TV to accept signals in the rear HDMI ports (all signals worked well), but then I couldn't get a signal processed via the side HDMI port. At first, just 1080p would not display (caused the OPC/power green light blinking), and after a few days, any signal hitting that port would cause the error lights to come on. But as I said, eventually, a new side board resolved that issue.
