There's something wrong with the focus of my camera. Everytime I take a picture it's blurry and it won't focus unless I zoom in. Is there a way for me to fix it?

Ensure finger is not covering auto focus.

ensure camera is not in macro setting. look for icon like a flower this is only for close up shots and will cause bluring if subject is too far away.

check that camera is set in auto focus and not manual focus mode if it has this.

I hope this was helpful.

It's not on macro or manual focus and the screen's still blurry. The lens of the camera had gotten stuck and wouldn't close before but I had gotten it to close but right after that the pictures became blurry.

Some of my pictures are blurry using a cannon rebel 3. how can i fix this problem?

There are several possible causes for blurry pictures.
1) Camera motion. If everything is blurry, it's most likely because the camera moved while the picture was being taken. Make sure your shutter speed is fast enough if you're handholding the camera (longer lenses require faster shutter speed). Alternatively, put your camera on a stable surface, such as a tripod or a tabletop.
2) Subject motion. If the subject is blurry but the background is sharper, then the subject may have moved while the picture was being taken. Use a faster shutter speed. Raise the ISO if needed. There are limits, of course. If you're trying to photograph a fast-moving object in the dark, you probably won't be able to.
3) Improper focus. If the subject is blurry but something else in the picture is sharp, then the camera probably focused on the wrong object. Move the focus selector to the subject you want in focus. Alternatively, center the viewfinder on the subject, press the shutter button halfway to lock focus, then reframe and shoot.
Without any more specific information as to what and how your pictures are blurry, I'm afraid the above is all I can give you.

Why are my pictures blurry when focus is all the way out, and focused when all the way zoomed in? this is also visually obvious on the lCD screen. zoomed out( out of focus)..zoomed in( in focus).

your camera's lense is clear? try clean it with suitable cleaner for lense. If still not working, check your user manual for setting

Lens problem, no zooming capabilities and blurry images

This would need to be serviced something is wrong with the auto focus and this is inside the lens housing. I would take it into a camera shop and have the examin the autofocus.

Blurred pictures

Check that the auto focus and auto exposure is turned on. Check that the camera is not in the macro mode for normal picture taking.

It is possible that there is a defect that is not allowing proper focus. In this case your camera will require service.

All zoom pictures blurry

I am sure your lens is clean but from what you describing you have a definte problem with the lens assy which includes the autofocus sensors. Sometimes is can be a faulty focus motor , dirt between sensor and outer lens. Camera needs to be stripped and checked up.

Everytime I take a picture it turns out blurry

Inside the lens their is a focus motor that has to be perfectly set if it get out of ajustment this will cause a blurry image it you try to zoom some times you may get a lens error this is because the lens has been obstructed from the inside by the focus lens. the lens eather needs to be replaced or rebuilt.you may find a broke one off ebay with a good lens pretty cheap if you are going to try and repair it your self.

You may already be doing this, I don't know, but on most newer cameras, you have to push the "take picture" button down half way to let it focus then press it the rest of the way to take the picture. It wouldn't hurt trying to see if that works.

Blurry pictures, beep-click noise

Angie, You can call the repairs dept and they can give you a pretty good idea over the phone of how much it will cost. Their number is 800-706-2534 and then keep choosing option 1. They might ask you to send it in so they can look at it but they will send you an estimate of what it would cost to fix it before they do any work. If your camera will stay on long enough you can try resetting the camera but I doubt if that will do anything.
