I haven't tried to assemble it yet but this is the link that I found to the instructions for mine on the evenflo site:
https://plweb.evenflo.com/product_search.aspx?txSearchModelNo=605859&txSearchDOM=5/5/1998

If the link doesn't work, go to https://plweb.evenflo.com/replacement_parts.aspx
and type in your model number and manufacture date.

Good luck. How frustrating is this!

When I had an exersaucer for my kids I had trouble putting the seat cover back on too. The cover on the one that I had wrapped around the circular rim that spins when on. There should be some hook like circles on the inside to hook the cover back on... then you press firmly to put the seat back in place... some have clips too. Mine always went in easy with a firm push down and clipped onto something rather there, never knew what I did, just press down FIRM!

I washed the seat cover of the exersaucer and cannot get it back on

It has likely shrunk. Try wetting it and then stretching it on while it is wet. Let it dry while it is on.

How do i put the seat back on my evenflo exersaucer

There are several models of exersaucers, but hopefully the seat attachments are similar. Here is a video from Evenflo showing how to assemble the product. This might help you.

Reattach seat to Evenflo Exersaucer

Match the red arrow on the fabric seat to the middle of the seat back. Use a crochet hook to fish the elastic straps through the slots. Pull the elastic straps to hook on to the tabs on the lower rotator fastener. The key is to pop the fabric seat up into a cone, so that you can see what you're doing.

Seat removal I bought the Little Einstein exersaucer used without directions and we need to wash the seat. Is there a trick to removing it?

Try holding the exersaucer down with on hand and pulling up on the seat rim with the other to remove seat then flip over to snap off fabric.
