Need a hp part number for a lcd display for a HP Pavilion dm4t-1200 laptop.

I would like you to try using HP's Part Surfer.

1) Put your Product Number, or Serial Number in the Quick Search box,
(P/N = Product Number.
S/N = Serial Number.

{DO NOT give out the serial number on a public forum such as this. Only on the HP website}

2) Then click the blue down arrow on the right side of the - Select a country or region - box, and click on your country.

3) Finally go back to the Quick Search box, and click on the side arrow to the right.

Post back in a Comment as to your findings.
We'll go from there.

On the back of the LCD screen is the HP part number.

http://www.screentekinc.com/HP_Pavilion_DM4T--14-inch--1366x768-wxga_hd-laptop-lcd-screen.shtml

{Scroll the page down, and see if any of the 36 part numbers may be a match}

Display LCD screen replacement instructions,

[ P.S.
You can disconnect the LCD display, and use an external VGA monitor, while you wait for the replacement LCD screen.

1) Laptop off, VGA monitor off.
2) Connect the VGA monitor to the Left side of the laptop.
( External monitor port. The VGA connector resembles this one,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SVGA_port.jpg

3) Turn the VGA monitor on. Wait for it to 'warm up'.
Turn the laptop on.

If the display does not automatically go to the external monitor;
Press, and hold down on the Fn key.
Tap the F4 key.

(The VGA monitor can be a CRT monitor, {Looks like a small TV}, or a flat LCD screen monitor that has a VGA connector, and a VGA cable ]

Hitachi Plasma model P50V701 - press the POWER button, display lights go from standby-red, to Power-blue to blinking blue and the sound and picture appear for about 2 seconds. have tried unplugging and...

(Green Power LED will go Green the Go Off) Brief rise then collapse of the Vs and Va voltages.

This indicates a "Load" on the line.

Pull the CN-64 connector feeding Vs/Va voltages to the X-SUS.

Take an ohmage reading from the Va and Vs lines on each PWB.

This means you have to read the Connector on the Power Supply and the pulled connector going to the X-SUS.

See if there is a low value. Low value indicates a defective PWB.

Normal reading should be infinity. (Using the diode mode on the DV/Voltmeter, there will be a brief charge

time, then infinity.) In other words, it may appear as a low ohm reading, but should rise to infinity or open.

(Also not, if there is a charge on the line, the meter may show a low. You must Pull the CN68 connector and take

a reading again).

The line should now be infinity when reading the Power supply pins for Va and Vs and when reading the

connector going to the X-SUS PWB.)
If a Low is see on the connector, pull the CN32 Connector. (Bottom right hand plug on the Y-SUS PWB)

Zenith laptop system works but no display LCD What to do what is the solution help needed very urgent

Does your laptop have a VGA port on it? Its a blue port usually. If so, try connecting an external monitor from a desktop to see if it will give you a display. If this works it is probably the inverter on your laptop screen. You will need to take it to your local repair shop to get it checked out.

HP 1702 monitor pin-outs

Okay...after a bit of trawling the net I found an almost correct pin out. It was not identical to my broken connector however after a bit of checking, I found that all the screens on the cable were common so I wired the connector as follows and all was well! :- 1 Pink 2 Grey 3 Light Blue 4. Violet 5. Link to 6,7, and 8. 6. as above plus a link to the drainwire next to the foil screen. 7. Link to 8,6 and 5 8. Link to 7 and 6 - just use some solder! 9 Dark Blue 10. Red 11. Black 12. Brown 13. Orange 14.Yellow 15 Green I used a diecast 9 way backshell and tied the cable braid screen to that so everything properly screened. Plugged it in and away it went! Hope this is helpful in the future. Best regards Victor.
