How to change fuel filter 2007 Santa Fe Limited

You have to drop the transmission pan. This is not something that you should do. Take it into a transmission shop or the dealer.

There is no external type fuel filter on the Santa Fe. It is built into the fuel pump module in the tank,you rould have to remove your rear seat bottom cushions and get to the access plate and remove the pump module. Can be very time consuming if you have never done this before.

the only rreal service that needs to be done at this mileage is a transmission fluid and filter change and a new air and fuel filter.

you need a torx screwdriver

if it is a 3.3L it is a canister filter on top of the engine, the cover will need to be removed. make sure to change the o-rings. if it is a 2.7L, on bottom of engine near front of engine.

it is inside the plastic box at end of large air intake hose coming from engine throttle body.
