Need remote code for Coby TFTV-1525, Diectv remote controller.

1) New batteries are the wrong type.
2) Reset the TV unplug it from the power socket for 5 or 10 minutes and plug it back on,
3) Now try the remotes again.

If you have tried using different input devices, looked for loose contacts
in power outlet, RC Jack, cable and connectors, the TV might need service.

some times in the manual for the universal, it will have a way to find the code, manually, by holding down certain buttons and watching for light to flash or tv will turn off or on.. It took me almost 1 hour once but my patience finally paid off. :) Just thought you might want to try that..

This type of fault is a power problem, in which you have to open the back cover of the television to check for the faulty component,
change all 1000mf-16v & 470mf-16v capacitor in power supply.possibly blow. if otherwise the power supply board is dead, do you know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors.These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable,and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

bought a coby tftv 2425, had a uverse remote that was set to my old zenith, it shut the tv off! The code is1357. It worked on both the sets I bought. Bettter to be lucky than talented!

If you are a DirecTV or Cox subscriber, you may sync a universal remote to your television using code 1548 or 11548.

These codes are for use with the following Coby television models:

I sucessfully programed the AUX button on my Cable remote to my Coby DVD player (model DVD-227) using code 21107. You can also try these codes: 20778, 21086, 21351.
