Hi
F2/F3 error message relates to the oven temperature sensor or thermostat faults.
The fix is normally to replace it.
This link may help if you want to do it yourself

Hope you get it fixed.
Sorry no update until now. We don't have a oven for now. My husband read the suggestions and did some looking at oven. I called sears. We were able to find out my parents had the kitchen redone in July 1993 and they can order the part for $100. We will look to see if we can find for less. I think I shocked him by finding this site and with everyone's help we figured it out.
my ge oven JKP13gv had f3 error code & oven shut down after approx 35 minutes. I reset breaker. next time I got same cook time before oven shut off, this time with f2 code ?? . No overheat occurred .Have never used self clean feature. I removed temp. sensor and it tested at 1100 ohms so I put it back in oven. next time oven shut off with no code or beep??? (temp. according to thermometer was right on ). is the ecb my next option and how do i access it to repair it > Please tell me I dont have to haul the built in out of wall!!!
