I believe it has both, strictly speaking it won't be a dedicated sound card as such but the capability will be integrated onto the motherboard. According to Acer Support the 5532 has High-definition audio support, Two built-in stereo speakers and is MS-Sound compatible. The peripheral subsystem has a Headphone/speaker/line-out jack and a Microphone-in jack should you want to add an external microphone for better quality recording.

Hi, it really rely on what makes you comfortable, typically the best ones would be a headset with a built in microphone, and these come in different sizes and shapes, again really what makes you comfortable... check out your local electronic store, just be sure to get one that is made for computers (these are made with two plugs one for mic and one for speaker) best of luck

webcam has own microphone which use USB like camera. Windows has own port for microphone.
go to software options which you are using with camera and change recording device to different one " it should be named like "USB mic" or something like that.

No,it doesn't. But there are many other ways to connect a camera to your ACER,it just wouldn't be built in obviously. I have the same computer,which means i have the same problem and unfortunately no WE Aspire 5532 users don't have a built in webcam.
